In a country where more than 500.000 people live with epilepsy and other 10.000 have multiple sclerosis it may seem like they don’t exist. You will not see them on the streets, you will not know that a co-worker might suffer from one of these diagnoses, because they choose to hide or to isolate. They are sent into isolation by our own ignorance.
Approach
For them to be possible to live a normal life, they need to know that people around them will not judge based on their appearance and that if anything happens, someone will know how to help.
In a social experiment filmed on the streets of Bucharest, a professional actor simulated different crisis situations specific to some neurological diseases.Most people chose to look the other way, while the very few pedestrians that decided to help proved lack of medical knowledge.
